Zion, Ephrata joins with another church to offer Saturday servicesFor many people, Sunday is another day of the week. The reality is that we are in a seven-day work week. The weekend, for many people, is just as busy as the other five days of the week. Sunday morning, the traditional time for attending church worship, has become occupied with many things. With this realization, Zion’s Reformed UCC and Salem Evangelical Lutheran have combined to offer another time for worship in. Beginning this Saturday, July 31, it will be possible to attend a protestant worship service, in Ephrata, on a Saturday evening. The service of Word and Sacrament will alternate between Salem and Zion’s Church. On the first, third, and fifth Saturday of the month, the service will be at Zion’s Reformed Church (1356 Apple Street). On the second and fourth Saturday, the service will be at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church (1331 West Main Street).
