Penn Central Conference – Evangelical Church of Germany (PCC-EKD)
The Penn Central Conference – Evangelical Church of Germany (PCC-EKD) Partnership Ministry team supports the relationship between the Penn Central Conference and its members with churches and Christians in Germany as an ecumenical mission. Currently we have relationships with the Evangelical Churches of the Rhineland (EKiR) and the Evangelical Churches of Berlin, Brandenburg and Upper Silesia (EKBO). The team holds an international colloquy every other year, which alternates between Pennsylvania and Germany, supports international exchanges and discussions, and encourages international friendship. A recent joint effort between the team, the churches in Germany and the Wisconsin Conference, is the Next Generation project, which is focused on enriching and engaging younger church leaders, both clergy and lay. We also participate in the Forum, the national UCC relationship team with the Churches in Germany.
